What are the purposes of and the legal basis for the processing of personal data?

The information typically includes the shipper’s and receiver’s names and addresses, a description of the goods, the number of packages, and the weight and value of the shipment. The processing of this data is generally based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, as it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party.

Processing for advertising purposes

If you are an existing customer, we may process your personal data (such as your name and contact details) to inform you about updates, offers, products, or services that may be relevant to you. In the absence of a separate consent, your email address will be used solely to provide information related to our own products and services. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as the processing of customer data for direct marketing purposes is considered to be carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest.
